Naked Woman Shocks ‘Last Mimzy’ Family Audience
Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 12:48 am | In National News | Leave a CommentParents and children alike were both frightened and astonished Thursday night when they visited a Holtsville movie theater on Long Island, where they had looked forward to seeing the PG rated “Last Mimzy,” a movie about kids who develop secret powers.
Instead, they wound up sitting in horror, watching as a naked woman chained to a bed giving birth to a dead baby on the big screen.
No, that isn’t the opening scene to the popular children’s film, but rather to the horror movie “The Hills Have Eyes 2.”
About 50 people ran from the theather, some screaming after being terrified by the movie.
Anthony Rasco was so steamed, he came back today to complain to management. “There were kids that were crying, there were people trying to cover the kids eyes, they were caught off guard,” Rasco told CBS 2. “By the time we could react and pull the kids together and figure out what was happening, we pulled them out of the theater.”))
The theater chain released a statement regarding the incident:
“National Amusements extends its deepest apologies to the children and families in the audience. We are working with our theater’s managers to correct this situation and ensure that it does not happen again.”
But not everyone was satisfied with the apology. “I think if I’m gonna go somewhere I’ll go to a different movie theater,” said Frank Doll, who also attended the screening.
For their troubles, parents last night were given two free movie ticket vouchers. Still, that may be cold comfort to a lot of terrified kids.
The theater chain has refused to say whether it intends to discipline the employee who was operating the projector at the time.
The Game Releases New Diss Track Aimed At Vida Guerra
Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 12:24 am | In Hip-Hop News | Leave a Comment
The Game’s recently premiered a diss record aimed at video vixen Vida Guerra on Los Angeles’ Power 106.
Guerra and the Game have been feuding since the Compton bred rapper called her out on his single “Wouldn’t Get Far.” The former Aftermath lyricist claimed to have had a sexual encounter with the infamous model. Guerra would deny his claims and release a record taking shots at the rapper.
On his retaliatory track, titled “Vida (They Love It),” Game spits: “Two finger fucked Vida like a virgin / two finger splits had her swerving like me in a Rolls Royce liquored up behind curtains / I never fuck with bitches that would me turn down/ just like I never fuck bitches that would burn me, wow”.
Guerra isn’t the only one feeling the heat from Game’s lyrical jabs. Earlier this week, Game reignited his beef with G-Unit by releasing a diss song titled “Body Bags.” The song was sparked by allegations that Tony Yayo assaulted 14-year-old James Rosemond, the son of Game’s manager, Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond.
